UNABLE TO VIEW A CLUB'S LIST OF MEMBERS: Symptom: When clicking on "Members" to view the list of members, the following message is displayed: "A slight problem... This club doesn't exist (it may have been disbanded). Solution: To get around this temporary problem, do the following: 1. Determine the club's "Intl" country code. This can be done by taking a look at the clubs root URL. If the URL displayed in the address field begins "http://clubs.yahoo.com" the club's "Intl" country code is "us". This is the default code. However, if the URL begins as follows "http://XX.clubs.yahoo.com" eg. "http://in.clubs.yahoo.com" the "Intl" country code is "XX" or in this example "in". 2. Note the club's name as well in the URL e.g. "IndiansoutofIndia". 3. Delete the contents in the URL address field. 4. Type the following text: "http://mlist.clubs.yahoo.com/config/member_list?.groupID=clubname&intl=code". In the case of "Indians out of India" which is an international-based club, the text would read: "http://mlist.clubs.yahoo.com/config/member_list?.groupID=indiansoutofindia&intl=in". In the case of "Global Affairs" which has the U.S. code, the text would read: "http://mlist.clubs.yahoo.com/config/member_list?.groupID=globalaffairs&intl=us". 5. After typing the text, hit <ENTER>. You should now be able to view the club's list of member. |
